We have been to many youth hostels, but in terms of service, food and furnishings, we think it was one of the best we have been to 😊 The staff is super nice! The food is good and the rooms are very modern! The environment was good, there were shops 5 minutes away by car. You have to drive up a steep mountain, so you can get out of breath on foot :) And the parking spaces are a bit tight, but if necessary you can just pull over to the side.

The youth hostel is at the top of the mountain. The approach has a gradient of 17%. And yet she still received an award for bed&bike. I do not understand that. Getting there is almost impossible, leaving is very dangerous. We were never there by car. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of parking spaces there that were "argued" over. The rooms were clean and big enough. But who comes up with the idea of mounting a fixed ladder in the middle for the upper bed???? As an adult user of the lower bed, there is a complicated climb around it. Not funny. A sliding door for the bathroom is also semi-optimal. Become soundproof and smellproof. That's silly. The tables in the dining room were quite small. We were there with several adults and many children, and the tables quickly became crowded. The food is almost all out of the bag or bucket. Typical youth hostel. And over-seasoned, lots of salt, lots of glutamate. For my taste. The rolls were too dry. The croissants felt like they were made from shortcrust pastry. The breakfast selection was good. Everything was fresh and presented appetizingly.
